UNCASVILLE, Conn., Dec. 21, 2023 - Mohegan, a globally acclaimed entertainment and gaming brand, today revealed executive level shuffles. The organization cheered as Joffre Wells joined the team as VP of Capital Markets, Investor Relations and Corporate Treasurer, and loyal associates, Kelly Leung and Kelly Sullivan received well-earned promotions to the Leadership Team.

'Joffre Wells' entry into our team is a cause for celebration. His financial proficiency and leadership skills synergize beautifully with our organization's trajectory, especially as we establish ourselves as leading integrated entertainment resort operators,' said Ray Pineault, President & CEO of Mohegan. 'Kelly Sullivan and Kelly Leung have consistently shown exceptional dedication to Mohegan, making their promotions well-deserved. Our leadership at Mohegan is stronger than ever as we stride into 2024 ready to tackle fresh challenges and enhance our brand.'

In his new role, Wells will be bolstering Mohegan's capital planning through his skills in fixed income, interest rate management, foreign exchange hedging, and fortifying relationships with investors and banking institutions. The position will also allow him to utilize his knowledge to support strategic projects in accounting, financial planning and analysis, and team member development.

Prior to this, Wells was a Global Macro Trader for Brandywine Global in Philadelphia, PA. He also served as the Global Rates Trader – Vice President, for BlackRock in New York, NY. Moreover, Joffre holds an MBA in Management Information Systems and an MS in Finance from Drexel University, along with a BBA in Finance from Temple University.

Leung, with his new designation as Senior Vice President of International Marketing, continues to play a vital role in Asian Marketing strategies at Mohegan Sun, while expanding his expertise to Mohegan’s international portfolio. With over 27 years of experience in the entertainment & gaming industry, Leung started his career at Foxwoods, later serving as an Executive Director at Caesars and Harrah's properties in Las Vegas. His journey with Mohegan Sun began in 2006 as VP of Player Development of Asian Marketing.

Sullivan, who has been with Mohegan since 2013, ascends to the VP of People Operations where she'll be overseeing recruitment, hiring, onboarding, engagement, performance management, and other high-level internal operations.

News about these exciting transitions comes at a time when Mohegan is expanding its international presence. In late November, the brand launched the Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon, South Korea, which features three hotel towers with 1,275 rooms, and a state-of-the-art interactive entertainment street among other things.
